The university is inviting applications from eligible academicians and scholars of international repute to be heads of the university. Vice Chancellor Vacancy for AJK University

The Vice Chancellor will manage the functionality of the academic programs, research programs and the administrative affairs of the university. The ideal candidate will have a PhD from an HEC recognized Higher Education Commission (HEC) and will have minimum 20 experience of Teaching, Research and Administrative work. In addition, a candidate should have served for at least 5 years in a full professor or equivalent position in an academic or research organization. It also requires Leadersip experience as Chairman, Principal, Director or Dean.

Applications are also required to be submitted to the Secretary of Presidential Affairs, AJK & Secretary Search Committee on President’s Block Kashmir House Islamabad. The application deadline is April 15, 2025. The Search Committee will evaluate shortlisted candidates through an initial examination, after which only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.
